For over 30 years, I’ve helped some of BC’s most prominent organizations achieve their goals by communicating honestly and effectively with their stakeholders – customers, members, employees, governments and the public.

About Me

I’m a professional communicator with a passion for storytelling. Whether it’s on a website, in a speech, on the radio or in magazine – I love hearing good stories well told. And I love helping people, organizations and companies tell them.

I trained first as a reporter, then after making the transition to corporate communications, I completed an MBA – recognizing the clear connection between communicating effectively and succeeding in business. As a manager, director and vice president, I’ve helped tell the stories of high-profile organizations with large audiences – the Port of Vancouver, BC Transit, TransLink, the BC Automobile Association and the BC Trucking Association.

In 2014 I founded Acres Communications and have been fortunate to work with clients who share my passion for communicating effectively on a range of issues and initiatives. In 2018 I decided to pursue another passion and launched a parallel career in the wine industry, toiling in vineyards and sharing my knowledge with guests eager to learn about BC’s burgeoning wine business.

Today, Acres Communications is my business focus with wine consulting added to my portfolio. I live in Kelowna where I enjoy music, skiing and the outdoors – and have a love-hate relationship with golf!
